Message to Local and Regional Physicians We at PrimeMed are one of the only facilities in the region with Board Certified Emergency Physicians.  We are thus committed to improving our patients’ acute and urgent care experiences.  Having practiced a number of years in the hospital setting, we are well aware of the limitations of the Emergency Department: long waits, overcrowded departments, understaffed units, and poor patient satisfaction.  We have responded to this local demand for superior acute care and after-hours services by creating PrimeMed Urgent Care.   As primary care physicians and specialists, you can be assured that your patients’ acute care needs will be efficiently addressed.   Our state-of-the-art facility is staffed with urgent and emergent care trained nursing and ancillary staff, and our more than 3,000 square-foot facility is equipped with the latest in acute care services and treatment modalities.  With a wide array of diagnostic and on-site testing, we can promptly diagnose your patients’ conditions and treat their ailments with our comprehensive treatment options.  We can do all this with little to no inconvenience for your patients.  We even guarantee your patients will be seen by a health care provider within 30 minutes of arrival.  Moreover, we have even implemented The PrimeWebTM Check-in: an online registration for patients to fill out at home so upon arrival, there will be little to no wait to be seen. At the completion of their visit with us, your patients will receive clear written discharge instructions explaining their initial diagnosis and treatment.  They will then be instructed to follow back up with you within the week.  We will also provide them with a copy of their work-up if requested and will securely transmit to you an electronic or fax copy of this work-up and discharge instructions.
